Samavartana 2016
Post Graduate Students’ Association, Vaidyaratnam PS Varier Ayurveda
College, Kottakkal is organizing Samavarthana 2016 a National Symposium on Renal Disorders-precise diagnosis
and safer management on 28th June 2016. We have also decided to conduct a paper
presentation and poster presentation competition on 27th June 2016. The
rules and regulations for the competitions are given below.
Paper
Presentation Competition
·
Competition is open for all BAMS
Students, Internees and PG scholars of Ayurveda colleges of India.
·
UG Students, House Surgeons and
final year PG scholars of VPSV Ayurveda College can also participate.
·
Interested candidates should
submit abstract of their presentation topic (maximum 300 words) to the paper
presentation committee through e-mail.
·
Candidate should ensure that
contact details (mobile number, email id etc) are mentioned in e-mail.
·
The paper presentation will be
strictly limited to 5 minutes. Additional 2 minutes will be allowed for
discussion.
Poster
Presentation Competition
·
Dimensions of the poster 120 cm (height) × 90 cm (width)

Poster title Arial
Bold (font size 25)
·
Body text Arial (font size 20) with
single spacing.
·
The poster should contain
salient aspects of the work. Photographs, pictures, and graphs can be used
liberally.
·
Each poster presenter will be
allotted 2-3 minutes for short introduction followed by discussion for 2-3
minutes.
·
Evaluation will be based on oral
description and poster presentation done by the participant.
·
The participant should send an
abstract of poster presentation within 200 words to the e-mail.
General
guidelines
·
The candidates for the poster
presentation and paper presentation will be selected after evaluation of
abstract.
·
The assessment will be made by a
panel of judges and their decision will be the final.
·
Selected candidates will be
informed through email / SMS / what’s app.
·
Last
date for submission of abstracts is 15th June 2016
·
Date
of Paper and Poster Presentation Competition will be 27th June 2016
·

of Gara and Dūṣiviṣa in Kidney
Disorders
o Pathology
of Kidney Disorders – Ayurvedic approach
o Management
of Kidney Disorders – Ayurvedic approach
o General
protocol for the selection of drugs in Kidney disorders
o Single Drug therapy in Kidney Disorders
o Role
of Pancakarma in Renal Diseases.
o Role
of Lifestyle modifications and Yoga in Chronic Kidney Disorders.
o Role of Vasti Marma in Pathology and Management.

The registration fees for paper
& poster presentation would be as same as that of the seminar. It can be
remitted by Cash / DD in favour of Post Graduate Students Association, VPSV
